Business Takeover & Spare Parts Range Creation
The adventure began with the business takeover in Saint-Ouen, followed by the strategic relocation of the headquarters to Mitry-Mory near CDG Airport. From 2008 onward, export expansion accelerated in North Africa through DOUADI AUTOMOTIVE, with revenue surpassing €17.3 million. In 2013, Tradex reached a major industrial milestone by developing and launching its exclusive TRADEX aftermarket spare parts range for the Middle East and Africa, helping drive group revenue to €36.1 million.
Distribution Business Consolidation
To strengthen its presence in the North African market, the company established DOUADI AUTOMOTIVE in Batna, Algeria, in 2008. This strategic expansion reinforced its position in the region and supported its international growth ambitions. Revenue exceeded €10 million in 2008, reached €16 million in 2010, and surpassed €17.3 million by 2013, reflecting the success of its expansion across North Africa.
Launch of the TRADEX Spare Parts Range
In 2013, TRADEX reached a major industrial milestone by developing and launching its own aftermarket spare parts range dedicated to export markets across the MENA region. Supported by a strong presence at major industry trade shows and exhibitions, this strategic activity experienced steady growth and generated revenue of €36.1 million by 2015.
Volume Strategy & Focus on Profitable Markets
After launching its new vehicle export business through major manufacturer partnerships such as Renault-Nissan and Peugeot, and reaching a record 3,370 vehicles sold for €72 million in revenue, Tradex redefined its strategy. In 2019, the company focused on its most profitable vehicle and spare parts markets. This strategic repositioning generated more than €53 million in revenue and increased its commercial margin to 8.97%.

To meet growing demand from the international aftermarket network, Tradex implemented a major diversification strategy. The company expanded its wholesale mechanical components division and further strengthened its exclusive TRADEX brand, offering a highly competitive and reliable alternative to OEM parts while reinforcing its position across key export markets.
